Life and living it to the fullest is my passion. I run, I bike, I love the beach, I’m a mom to a baby girl, and I have an amazing family and great friends. I also own CrossFit KGB in Kennebunk, Maine with my husband, Franko. I started receiving massage for myself as a recovery method in 2013 and went from an athlete to also being a CrossFit Coach in 2014. Through CrossFit, I realized quickly that the passion I’d always sought in a hobby (that became part of my career) had been found.

The human body has always amazed me. The things it is capable of accomplishing and adapting to are endless and exceptional. In 2016, I decided that in addition to helping people become the fittest and most well-rounded versions of themselves, I also wanted to help them be proactive in avoiding injury through better recovery. Enter my 750-hour massage therapy training program.

I began my practice in the winter of 2017 and I get to say with heart and great amounts of gratitude, that I love what I do. I’ve been honored to work with professional athletes in multiple different sports right down the line to all levels of injury, age, medical conditions, and recovery needs. Since finishing my initial training, I’ve expanded my knowledge to include hands on training in TMJ, Restoring range of motion, migraines, sciatica, a Sports Massage Certification, as well as a Medical Massage Practitioner Certification. Now that you know all about me, I’d like to know all about you.

Your best life is waiting. Let me help you get there.

My journey with fitness and recovery began when I started gymnastics at the age of 5. I spent the next 14 years as a competitive gymnast and loved every minute of it. After I graduated high school, I decided to switch gears and try out a team sport, immediately joining the Springfield College Crew team. In the off season I took up CrossFit with my sister and both of my parents. I also got into cycling with my Dad. Following college graduation, I enlisted in the United States Army and spent 5 years in field artillery. After leaving the Army, I moved to Maine and met my wife, Sarah. We love to bike in the summer, run road races, and spend lots of time outside walking the beach with our daughter, Zander. We also own CrossFit KGB in Kennebunk.

Being part of the CrossFit community allows me to get to know people from all different sports backgrounds and work professions. Massage therapy training has allowed me to dive into anatomy and physiology as well as kinesiology, which is the study of movement. I enjoy working with athletes just as much as individuals from all different occupations. Massage can be just as beneficial to someone who works behind a desk or paints houses for a living, as it is to the person who participates in sports or suffers from a chronic condition such as arthritis, sciatic, migraines, or joint replacements. I love massage because it helps people become proactive in preventing injuries, promotes better recovery, and also improves mental wellness. To be able to positively affect a persons ability to move, gain mobility, and reduce aches and pain is the reason I love my job. Every day and every person is different and for that I am grateful. I love what I do and I would love to help you with whatever recovery needs you may have. With all that said, maybe you just want to come in for a massage to relax. We’ve got that covered too.

Life goes by quick. If you don’t stop and get a massage, you’ll miss it.

I graduated from Spa Tech in 2020 and immediately started working as a sports massage therapist. I had known since my sophomore year in high school that I wanted to work in the massage therapy field. Suffering through a knee injury and some back pain which were both treated and alleviated with massage, made me sure that I wanted to help other people deal with their everyday stress, aches, pains and injuries the same way I did. Massage has the power to change your day or your life in some cases and I feel grateful everyday to be a part of that no matter how big or small a difference it makes. Taking a forced break from massage during the pandemic reassured me that this was my passion, I just wasn’t as happy without it! When I’m not doing what I love as a therapist, I enjoy the outdoors, hiking, singing at my local church, and my family. I see each day as a new opportunity to learn and grow. I look forward to helping all the people I am fortunate enough to come across find a better sense of balance and peace of mind than I found them with.
